The objective of this exhibit is to convey the extraordinary personality of Reagan and his connection to the Ranch. The use of bold colors, large iconic images, and a variety of textures like leather, wood, and textiles help illustrate the bond between the man and the ranch, and also help stimulate an emotion. Texture evokes emotion, reminding people of the sense of touch, and even deeper a connection to the essence of what something truly is. As the visitor views the composition of patriotic images and the variety of seemingly touchable textures, they get a physical sense of what the content is explaining. It reminds them of the essence of Reagan, The Ranch, and the relationship between them.
