Art in Transit: Public Art Contest for VIA Metropolitan Transit Prímo Bus Shelters
Artists from throughout Texas and the United States created site-specific art pieces to be installed at new Prímo bus shelters along Zarzamora Street and Military Drive. The contest attracted 157 total entries from artists of all ages. This entry won first place out of 46 winning entries now being fabricated into laser-cut metal windscreen panels.

Churches in Lace Design Concept
The churches of San Antonio are woven into the textured history of it’s communities. They are both way-finders and ornaments for the soul of the city. Three San Antonio churches were chosen and redrawn in the style of Spanish lace. Hand drawn images were used in the process to add character and diaphanous qualities. Adding bridges to aid in the metal structure seemed to accentuate the design. These images will inspire and give a sense of hope to the traveler. Locations were chosen in proximity to the churches.
