Subang Jaya Illustrated Coffee Table Book - WIP

To pay homage to the celebration and commemoration of Subang Jaya as a 40 year old township, I planned to design an illustrated coffee table book featuring the memories and scenes of Subang Jaya. These are familiar sights and sounds of those living in Subang Jaya thus the book becomes a medium of reminiscence. It also features the lifetime of Subang Jaya in an illustrated timeline.
I started exploring with illustrations created using the calligraphy brush. It portrays a more carefree and handwritten style which is suitable for illustrating things closer to our hearts.
