Type: independent digital artwork / Goldsmiths
Concept: Navigating hypertexts without a sitemap can be as tricky as moving around a global city without a map. Directly referring to London's most popular plan (London A-Z), I created an alternative tour around the British capital. Setting off for different famous tourist landmarks, your travel by bus / tube / train goes wrong and you get lost in a completely different part of the city. Instead of a predictable and somehow overplayed narrative of the global city of success, you get to know the international migrants' stories, joys and doubts. You may never get to Buckingham Palace or Westminster Abbey, but you get to touch the real fabric of multicultural London of today.
