Counto12 for the National Portrait Gallery in London

Counto12 for the National Portrait Gallery in London
Concept: The real beauty of a city lies in its people. Our creative team embarked on a journey in the boroughs hosting the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Having photographed over 500 inhabitants of these areas, we created a screensaver counting days down to the opening ceremony. Even though the 2012 Olympics is now a thing of the past, Counto12 still functions as a colourful online clock, celebrating East London's cultural diversity and the beauty of its people.
Core team membersYujin Yun, Christina Katsantoni, Ewa Balazinska / Goldsmiths
My role: concept development, pitch preparation, photography, image post-production, creative project management
Counto12 was first screened during 'The Late Shift Extra: ReAnimate' in the National Portrait Gallery in summer 2011.
