One Mile Walk
A Day of Exploration
We were challenged to create a series based on an accessible location. Our first step was to explain a mile using unconventional directions. I chose the memorial Lexington center where I mapped out directions based on major landmarks. This set of directions also included the historical significance of five locations ending with the Lexington Minuteman statue. The next piece was to be a guide composed only of images. I took photos of the path, and made the images black and white except the path of which the follower was to take. For the last piece we were to combine both text and image together. I created a square that guided through the path for the inside and the outside of the square included the history with images of the landmarks.
