UX and IX
Tangible and intangible interfaces
This is a small sampling of what I have done in the user experience and interaction design space. My background in industrial design is a great framework for doing this type of work. The idea of prototyping and iterating is a bit different than the visual design approach. The designer has to concentrate on what will  resonate to the intended customer and empathize  with them. It is hard to show the many hours talking to users and spent using the tools I have designed for. Some of it has never seen the light of day and other parts are just boring product specifications and user requirement documents.
This i think is a great way to start. I made this image with Jim Leftwich of Orbit interaction in 1995. An architect would be doing a massing model while seeing the house from the front yard as well as an aerial view. This was chosen as the cover image over 220 others from Peter Anders' book. All of this was using Augmented reality back when VR was the trend du jour.
