Visualizing Vocabulary
In Unexpected Rhetoric at Gittins Gallery, Salt Lake City, UT.
This assignment tasked us with designing an infographic poster breaking down elements we found of interest in Hillary Clintons DNC acceptance speech. Utilizing Edward Tufte's 10 Data Visualizing Principles , I created a two posters, one comparing Clinton's rhetoric regarding Bernie Sanders during her DNC speech with comments she had made of Sanders in the past. Designed in an ode to the ol' Windows 95, error screens pop up around a notepad document show her contradictions and also give a slight to her e-mail scandals. The collection of posters were then showcased in a Gittins Gallery.
