Project Felix is a new compositing tool that lets you use both 2D and 3D assets to more easily create photorealistic imagery. In this project, we used both Project Felix and Photoshop to create the final image.
Here’s a look at the process:
We started by bringing in a new 3D asset from Adobe Stock and then added materials and textures to the different parts of the bottle. A label was created in Photoshop and added to the bottle as well.
Both within Felix and Adobe Stock are 3D assets and texture presets to help you quickly customize your work.
Once we were happy with the main image, we added a second image to flesh things out more. We matched the camera’s perspective by setting the ground point and adjusting the lighting using both Auto-Horizon and Auto-Light..
The file was then brought into Photoshop as a layer for final touchups and finishing.
