A bid such as this needs to be developed to SD, just to qualify to compete. Travelling project managers and programmers help with the bid drawings.
I worked with the late Rod Robbie Architect on the concept, and with Trow engineering on the details of the structure of the canopy.
We developed the stadium with flexible details and stands, to absorb the falloff of attendance after the games.
Still, there was a full set of drawings for the stadium at the end, of which I was responsible for the design of the stadium and the tricky cad of the sections. View lines were very important and had to flex with the different events.
