Zielnik Czarodziejski
Jest to książka autorstwa Józefa Rostafińskiego i wydana została w 1895 roku. Treść jej stanowią cytaty z zielników i ksiąg medycznych pochodzących z wieków od XVI do XIX. Rostafiński zebrał tutaj około 1500 przesądów o roślinach. Książka składa się z trzech części, z której pierwsza to zbiór ułożonych alfabetycznie roślin. Dwie pozostałe ułożone są według skutków działania i sposobów używania roślin.
Zaprojektowanie oprawy graficznej oraz stworzenie ilustracji było częścią mojej pracy magisterskiej. Poniżej są ilustracje stworzone do pierwszej części książki. Przedstawiają one wybrane z Zielnika rośliny. Są one posegregowane alfabetycznie i tworzą tablice użyte w książce jako pomoc naukowa.
Korzystając z tych ilustracji, wydrukowałam w technice sitodruku dwie tablice w formacie 64x90 cm, a także okładki notesów i serię bawełnianych toreb.

The Magical Herbarium
It's a Jozef Rostafinski's book published in 1895. It consists of qoutations from herbaries and medical books dating from the XVI to the XIX century. Rostafinski gathered here more than 1.500 superstitions of plants. The book is divided into three parts, of which the first one is arranged alphabetically according to plants. The other two are arranged by the method and the effect of use.
The editorial design and illustration were part of my master thesis. Here I present illustrations created for the firts part of the book. They portray chosen plants and are used inside the book as a study help.
Based on these illustrations I made two 64x90 cm serigraphies. I also printed sketchbook covers, and the set of cotton bags.
