TechniSat – a success story – is shaping the future. The company has been implementing solutions for receiving and connecting data for German-speaking countries since 1987. TechniSat has grown up with and become known for its satellite reception technology. Today, TV´s, digital radios, smart-home and other lifestyle electronic products are part of their range. 

Further development of the TechniSat brand began in October 2015. The task was to revise the visual presentation in light of the growing market demands in order to position the company for the future. At the same time, a brand identity was developed which would clearly reflect the substance as well as the growing corporate values of innovation, quality and service. 

The vision
We crafted along with Andres Kühn (Visuales) and Cromatics an intensive process made up of analysis, reflection and strategy in the form of 50 interviews with employees, customers and dealers, workshops with corporate management as well as a thorough competitive analysis. The information gained from this process served as the basis for the self-image and vision of TechniSat, as well as the ideas and actions towards customers and competitors. 

The new brand design
The design is based on conciseness and vibrancy. The colored planes which play off each other create a strong contrast using shape and color, helping the entire corporate communication to stand on its own with a high recognition factor. The complete design for brochures and packaging was tailored to match, based on the revision of the signet, the imagery, world of colors and typography so that it would be ready to present a unified look at the IFA 2016 trade fair.
