SPEAKING OF FICTIONAL PERSONALITIES…
How could any sane person not be moo-ved by the vivaciousness of cheese flavored personalities?
River Valley Cheese is a Seattle based cheese company and an educative resource for cheese enthusiasts alike. I was brought on to add character and pizzaz to the already flavorful and unique cheeses of River Valley Cheese.
My approach took the form of finding the "personality" of each cheese and then converting that into illustrations of the respective cow (or goats) of each flavor.
The work began by pinpointing which cheeses would be guinea pigs in this process and then sketching out the characters until their look was perfected. The line-work detail was added into the pen drawings, and afterwards, they were taken into the computer for digital coloring.
