Shari Finger Design LLC designed and produced a brand identity, media kit and web site for the launch of PRNewsFotos™, a division of PR Newswire. The idea behind PRNewsFotos™ was to provide a complete photo solution which would enhance news and information by using photography through partnerships with their distribution channels. By doing so, the user would have a greater opportunity for their story to reach a greater audience.
Keeping the film sprocket as a theme throughout as a recognizable graphic element, we also used circular elements to play off the aperture of a SLR camera opening and closing. Each time a web page was clicked upon, the sound of an aperture was heard. Horizontal navigation was designed to echo the graphics of a contact sheet along with dynamic photography reinforcing the PRNewsFotos™ story.
