IRISS commissioned me to illustrate 13 pages for their magazine "Weaving Innovation and Evidence Together".
The Newspaper Club says that "IRISS is a charitable organisation that promotes positive outcomes for people who use Scotland’s social services. They teamed up with Dundee-based illustrator Amanda Bataller to produce an eye-grabbing newspaper aimed at people who work in the social care and support sector. Company reports can be a chore to read but the illustrations here are wonderful, cleverly interpreting the newspaper’s theme of ‘weaving innovation and evidence together’ and getting the point across in an engaging visual way."
This is the cover and back of the magazine. The whole magazine is illustrated around the idea of weaving, and the same characters and colours are consistent through all the pages.
