Located in Brisbane, Australia, the brief for Kent st was to reorganize the internal layout of 5 units to include an additional bathroom. Consisting of four single level units and a fifth multi-level unit, opportunities for expansion were limited. The focus was to try and create opportunities for users to retreat and reflect without confusing the hierarchy of the current plan. As a part of the refurbishment, the elevation was to also receive attention and the proposal looked at identifying and accentuating with the proportions of the rigid rectilinear form.
