ORGANIZAM #1 Proces: Bol pluća

Drawing ORGANISM #1 LUNG PAIN are based on introspective narration and intimate visualization of pain. The basis upon which I created it is a personal experience and understanding of past through remembering and reconstructing pain. A common flew with coughing is given a different shape through an intimate prism, and it changes from a shape which is real and material into an imaginary visual description. Pain is represented through seven drawings – seven days of disease, shaped in a form of an unreal medical report.
The drawings represent a memory of a pain, a visual variation of a moment, an imaginary medical report and a new form of a disease that belongs to imaginary, albeit based on reality.
The medical elements that I have used and developed while working serve to reveal the pain in it’s essence.  Aside from pain, my work deals with a feeling of emptiness that comes along with disease.
The writings on the drawings possess the same characteristics as the writings typically used for medical illustrations.
The drawings should be exhibited in a small and confined space followed by the acute lung noise played on speakers. The goal is to make the viewer feel the pain represented on the drawings as his own, to feel like entering into organism itself.
