This logo was designed for the Great Lakes Energy Institute before university branding was initiated. The institute is affiliated with Case Western Reserve University and thus is required to have a brand compliant logo. This logo conveys the dynamics of energy by playing with the letter forms. The contrast between the bright, electric green and the deep blue-green are dynamic. The deep blue-green is inspired by the color of the lake.
