Hane Brewpub gets its name from the German word "hane," meaning rooster. The pub, which brews its own beer in house and also makes cheese and bread, is based on the rooster being a characteristically early riser. I developed a logo that is reminiscent of an old, German pub sign while incorporating the capabilities of the company into the rooster’s tail feathers. The brand deliverables all have a hand-made quality, being able to be easily applied and created as if by those that work at Hane Brewpub.
