In 1886 the city of Vancouver, Canada burnt down and there was a mad rush to rebuild it with people seeing great potentional in the city. People from all over the world settled in Vancouver and quickly built their small empires within the city and surrounding areas. There was a lot of fresh land to monopolize on in the real estate of Vancouver.
This version of Monopoly focuses on the historical sites and landmarks within Vancouver, making the game not only entertaining to play but also educational. On every title deed cards is a write-up about the street bought and what was happening on that specific street when the city was being rebuilt. The photos on the title deed cards correlate with photos on the board spaces.
