Video 1 Final
The assignment was to create a video based on the word "soap". It could be about anything we wanted as long as we could tie that concept in at some point. I explored themes of isolation and fear. I developed a character that fears the outside world and its germs, so in order to venture outdoors, must wear a "space suit" they've constructed.

Design Theory
As homage to Susan Sontag’s Notes on Camp, I have attempted to encapsulate an equallycomplex and quiet culture, Sneakerhead. To that effect I have curated a collection of sneakers and aim to explain their significance to the subculture while also exploring the formula for the most collectable and coveted sneakers.
Craigslist Redesign

I targeted three of the biggest problems with Craigslist: the inability to create posts that aren’t location specific, the obvious flaws with navigation (link heavy home page) and of course, the issue of anonymity with Craigslist.
The redesign presents powerful solutions to the problems, these include:
1. The ability to post world-wide, without a specific location
2. A clean, organized layout that adapts to the users preferences and favorites as they utilize the site more often
3. The biggest change, a profile system that rates users on trustability and allows for photos and buyer feedback while still giving people the option to remain anonymous.

Composition 1 features several improvements to the original Craigslist website. The redesign features a grey, white and purple layout with a large header featuring the user’s photo, trust/feedback rating, new messages, and location. Feedback is a new feature that follows a user’s profile and helps other users feel safer when the interact with each other. Feedback is determined by user reviews. The header also features a search bar which allows for both generic and advanced searches, which is extremely important because it eliminates a lot of the links seen before. What’s left of the links is split into different categories, identified by icons. Clicking on a title within the category displays the top five posts and links to the full listing page. The posts are location based.The most frequently visited categories are starred and considered favorites, and therefore show more information. This redesign focuses on the user, and works to build a friendly and safe community into the Craigslist framework.

Comp 2 - Network Media Assignment
Comp 2 features the “Add a new post” page in anon mode. This is an important feature which preserves the anonymity of Craigslist while also making it a safer place for users. Anon mode is an optional way to browse Craigslist that keeps everything anonymous except for the user’s trust rating. Users can opt to post anonymously or publicly, hide or show their location and hide or show their photo. New posts also feature the ability to post without a specific location for certain things such as online jobs.
