The Complexus fabric line consists of three different fabrics. Each one represents different time of the day, from early morning, to noon, to sunset, which creates a nice gradient going from light to dark. The series utilizes similar color schemes and sketchy cocoon element that is meant to achieve a cohesive set that still has great contrast within itself. Each fabric swatch is also uses visuals of cocoon and butterfly that are part of the bio-mimicry inspired baby gear product line.

Once the fabric line was conceived the fabrics were applied to a commercial product. The product was inspired by the nurturing enclosure nature of cocoons. Products are Baby hammock, Baby sling and Diaper Bag. Baby Hammock and Sling are snuggling baby in organic fabric allowing baby to rest. And Diaper bag is enclosing baby’s belongings. All three products deal with concept of suspension and containing/protecting.
