We were asked to take an evil character and illustrate them as an infant. I chose the evil magician, Jafar, from Disney's Aladdin because of two reasons: I've always loved the warm color palette used in the film to convey the "broiling desert sun" and also because i love those cut, little, arabian shoes!

In the Disney story, Jafar is the Sultan of Agrabah's most trusted advisor. However, he is a scheming, power-hungry magician that wants to take control over the kingdom and he believes he can do so if he finds the magical lamp.
