Marketing Collateral Design

This is the first of several direct mail cards sent out by SMP Communications in an effort to promote their newAvid video editing system. This piece was mailed to local directors and producers announcing that the Avid Suite was available and ready to use. I was given complete creative control over this campaign.
This piece was designed to reach a corporate audience looking for more powerful presentation tool than a simple Powerpoint presentation. The approach was to create a conference room setting that was anything but a conference room.
This piece was designed to attract television advertising producers. The use of the eye surrounded by its "factory specs" was used to illustrate the point that your client's eye is the final viewing place and every effort to maximize that experience should include the Avid. Although it is too small to make out here, the type surrounding the iris says, "this is your client."
This piece was designed to show that the Avid was capable of producing high def content but also had the ability to compress content for on-line streaming.
