The series „Ciutat X“ (City X) discusses the relationship between the human being and the metropolis. 

It is based on the artist’s observation and his interest in the small details of everyday life, in which the individual plays the most important part. In his works, Lillo investigates satirically and critically common everyday encounters and reflects, by manipulating reality and creating paranormal situations, human emotions as loneliness, fear, liberation or angst.

Lillo constructs his unique artistic narrative through a precise technique and only a small range of colors: black, red, white and blue.
