This CGI ring was created from our clients’ CAD data and matches the brilliant original exactly.

 

By creating the image in CGI we have been able to zoom in and show the cut of the diamond, the design of the clasp and in addition animate the whole piece as if you were turning it in your hand to see it from all angles.

The CGI scene itself was really simple but the attention to the material finish was the key to achieving a good realism.

The final still image has both depth of field and caustic effects enabled giving the macro feel and the sparkle from the diamond.
