Designed for a directed study focusing on typography, this 8-page newsletter challenged me to create specific paragraph styles for different sorts of information, styles that would consistently differentiate necessary details from one another while also being malleable and useful in multiple situations.

The content focuses on young adult literature, with a proposed audience of both teens and those interested in writing for a teen audience. Each page represents a different, very small department in the newsletter, from writers' resources to news of the industry. There are reviews and editorials in the rear of the newsletter, and the last page is a calendar of events.

The body text is set in Chaparral and the headlines are Futura. The front and back cover are in full color (with a limited color scheme of goldenrod and cornflower blue), while the interior pages are black and white.
