Kitchen design
New kitchen in a small apartment on Södermalm, Stockholm.
In 2007, I designed this kitchen in a one bedroom apartment in Södermalm, Stockholm. Again, creating more for less by using relatively cheap cabinets from danish Kvik, adding cost only in details that really matters such as worktops in 12mm black, through-coloured compact laminate, black sil-granite sink, combined oven/microwave etc. All whitegoods such as dishwasher and fridge/freezer were integrated in the cabinets. One wall was completely tiled using cheap, standard white tiles (150x150mm) with white grout and given life by adding screen-printed tiles with Stockholm motifs by ceramic artist Ylva Wilhelmina-Franzén (www.ylvawfranzen.com).  Crisp and clean.
