"To Exist In Between" is a series of projects exploring my dual cultural heritage through the manipulation of childhood images on a Xerox scanner, screenprint, and animation.
Artist Statement:
"I am deeply proud of my dual heritage, but move through life not knowing my place in either. I am the occupant of a cultural middle ground. This series explores my duality by allowing my internal “push and pull” to manifest itself as physical artifacts. Through this process, I attempt to carve out my place 'In Between'."
