Concept
This low table for indoor and outdoor use combines an elegant and friendly form with many layers of utility. Besides the obvious use of a low table, it features a removable "butler's tray" integrated in the tabletop. This tray can be used as a collector for small items such as mobile phones and keychains, but it can also be taken out and used to serve drinks and snacks. The next layer of utility is just below the tabletop. The base is curved in such a way that it creates a shelf-like structure on which somewhat larger items, such as books, magazines and remote controls can be placed. Easy to reach, but not in the way. Finally, the base itself can be used as a basket to store, for instance, cushions,towels and blankets.
