This is a contest winning piece I created for ACT:S, an independent initiative of World Vision focused on activism in the areas of social justice and global suffering. ACT:S recently spearheaded a tactic called HungerFree along with other global hunger organizations to mobilize support for helping end global hunger and enacting change through world leadership at the upcoming G8 and G20 conferences in the summer of 2012.
This artwork will be one of the covers of several books outlining the goals of HungerFree and will be in the hands of Barack Obama and other world leaders to encourage them to begin to make changes to end global hunger.
