Thereason for this project was to come up with a concept and theme forthe Keiser design & multimedia portfolio show. As a group we allin the design & multimedia program pitched our ideas for thetheme of the show. We all played off the name the office and thoughtabout being professionals so we came up with the name “TheProfessionals”. After we had the theme down that we wanted we allcame up with some sketches of our own ideas and pitched the idea's toour professor. We then had the three top sketches we had and thencreated comps for each idea of the poster and postcard. We allgathered back to the table to show our comps to each other and have avote for each person and their comps on what one we should finalizeand perfect. After talking with the class and getting some feedbackfrom the other students and professor I then went with the bestconcept I had. The process after the comps was a little bit more workwith having to take custom photography of a good subject that wouldfit the poster and postcard I was going for. I took the photos I hadinto photoshop adjusted them to the correct size and began my editingto the photo itself before I even placed the type in. After settingthe photo up correctly I then put my type in the poster with the dateand time added. When I finished laying the type out on the poster Ithen kept the same layout for the postcard but adding the logo andaddress on the back instead.
