Every now and again I have had to do some 3D work for classes or even just for fun. I enjoy breaking from the confines of two dimensions and it really is something that helps me understand the relationship of objects to the space in which they exist and this ends up helping me understand how to represent and manipulate space better when I go back to 2D work.
