Dutch designer Frans Schrofer introduces armchair Blob for Italian luxury furniture brand Molinari at this year’s International Möbel Messe, Cologne, Schrofer’s armchair Blob is a result of a process of elimination to achieve a pure essence in form and function � no mechanics, no technology, no complications. A marriage between one undulating line that creates the seat, back and armrests with a geometric block that forms the frame. In multiple groupings, Blob creates an interior landscape of low frequency waves, connecting people in their environment without interruption.
