Addicted or the Agony of Quitting
The customer insisted on a hand-drawn illustration for the cover of his book dealing with the agony of trying to give up smoking. He definately did not want a computer generated image. Capable of illustrating by means of paintbrush, I furnished this illustration which pretty well expresses what a person goes through while battling his addiction. Symbolizing the item of addiction as a totem pole has the purpose of emphasizing how hazardous cigarette smoking can be.
