This first project required us to understand the relationship between form and the build qualities of 3D printing which were then explored through photography and digital manipulation.

 

Here I applied my understanding of the physical qualities of 3D printing according to build lines and print orientation to create a form that could produce a flute-like sound. 

 

Using multi-property 3D printing, I was able to explore a range of tactile qualities on a miniature scale with a high level of detail.
