Alice in Wonderland is an animation to support the interest in books. Reading triggers our endless imaginaion and we should use it.
I based my animation on the story ‘Alice in Wonderland‘, because it offers an remarkable story and describes extraordinary imagery. The style of the animation is dominated by cutouts from book pages in a silhouette style, because everything originates from a book. I used famous and unfamous scenes from ‘Alice in Wonderland‘, so the viewer is still surprised and can discover new details everytime he or she watches the animation. To bring the animation closer to life, I used real footage in the beginning and in the end of the movie. The next reading experience is only a walk to the next book store or library away.
