The forward command vehicle (FCV) is an integral part of the SCDF’s emergency response structure because it acts as the nerve centre of operations.
It contains state of the art systems that allows access to information pertaining to the situation and environment; it also allows them to update the headquarters and it's various departments with latest information. Information is dispersed via wireless communication systems.
This project seeks to revamp the vehicle by providing a better ergonomic setup and the latest, most cost effective means of enhancing it’s functions.
