An editorial illustration for an article about stories and novels written by Italo Calvino. Some of his well-known works include Our Ancestors trilogy (1952-1959), the Cosmicomics collection of short stories (1965), and the novel Invisible Cities (1972) and If on a winter's night a traveler (1979.) In this illustration, I was trying to depict the fantasy and romance of the universe which Calvino described in his stories.
