The original founders of Mazawattee Tea Company were true entrepreneurs. Their understanding of the value
of advertising and publicity led them to find exciting and unusual ways to promote the company.

One of the most bizarre images from their archives has inspired the new branding. Behind the faded black
and white photograph is a wonderfully quirky story of how zebras were used to transport their teas to local grocers.

A cup of Mazawattee tea literally stopped traffic back in their heyday; but no doubt deliveries made by a
zebra-drawn carriage would have caused a bit of a stir.
