Oculus Experience 2 is the second pre-rendered VR video produced by inVRsion for Doc Generici. The 4k stereoscopic video is about 4 minutes long and runs at 60fps. The viewer is taken on a tour of the human body through its blood vessels, in order to experience first-hand the consequences of high blood pressure and how certain drugs can help fighting it. The organs that are visited during this trip are the heart, the kidneys and the brain.
I worked together with another freelancer, Giulia Tirelli, who took care of all the motion graphics, the particle systems setup, the 2 intro and outro shots and the complete editing. I worked on the production of the 6 shots that compose the 3 sequences of the trip inside the body: modeling and animating the environments, directing and animating the camera movements and eventually shading, rendering and compositing the shots for use in the final video.
The video was completed in 3 months.
