A local Spring Festival, which took place in late 2015 over a period of two weeks; with focus on a Community working together to organise and run a festival, which was supported by the local Auckland Council. The brief required us to design a logo for the festival, print media, and create a simple, user-friendly website, to facilitate the planning and organisation of the festival.
"Welcome to POP THE TOP, Te Atatu Peninsula’s Spring Festival!
Te Atatu Peninsula is a special place. Whether you call it The Peninsula, The Pen or Tat North, we all live here.
For two weeks, from the 17th to the 31st of October, we’re going to come together under one roof,
and lift the lid on our new Community Centre.
Our space, our place - filled to the brim with events and activities that celebrate all that we are and
all that we represent… A spectacular showcase of our cultural diversity and creative spirit.
All the events and activities within the programme are being designed, organised and run by individuals and
groups within our community from start to finish. The Pop the Top Steering Group have pulled them together
into what we hope is an exciting timetable for us all to enjoy.
Everybody is invited and everybody is welcome!"
