Ontario Youth Convention - Event Marketing

Ansley Creative partnered with Ontario Youth, developing a two-month marketing campaign leading up to the 39th annual Ontario Youth Convention.

This conference was hosted in Belleville, Ontario at the Yardman Area.

We utilized a wide array of our services to produce impacting marketing both before and after the event, as well as a short film to be premiered live at the Convention.

Consulting & Social Media Management

Ansley Creative met with the Ontario Youth Committee in November 2015 to begin consulting and planning for the event marketing. We determined a strategy for Facebook & Instagram, and developed a timeline for video & graphic production.

The social media campaign was teased in February 2016 and fully launched on April 2nd.

Ansley Creative included 12 graphics to be published between Facebook & Instagram, complimented by film & video production.



Film & Video

Our strategy included the production of a short film to be premiered at the convention along with four 30 second trailers.

Pre-production for the short film began in January. The entirety of the film was in production between February and early May, filming across Hamilton while cutting and producing the 30 second trailers.

Post-production officially started mid-April after our second block of shooting.

The short film was written, directed, narrated, edited and produced by Ansley Creative. It premiered on May 22, 2016 at the Yardmen Arena in Belleville, ON. It was later released on social media and has reached 14,000 profiles gaining around 5,000 unique views.




Marketing Adjustments

In the heat of our marketing we realized that there was room within the budget to produce extra videos for social media.

Ansley Creative produced an additional 6 interview videos for the short film as well as a devotional video. 

This impromptu adjustment added an extra boost to our marketing in the weeks before convention. The interview videos and the devotional video had a collective total of 5,532 unique views, with well over 10,000 profiles reached.
