I got to know Guido Aalbers, a celebrated Dutch music producer, through his amazing project Lorrainville (for which I designed the artwork). Guido moved his studio to his hometown of Zwolle (NL) and figured it was the perfect time to get a proper logo. He asked me if I would design the new identity to fit his new and advanced mixing and recording studio, called Giesound. For the trademark I was inspired by the range of circular objects you often encounter in a recording studio. Combined with a clean retro style in the use of color and fonts, it gives it a great sophisticated and timeless appearance. Just what he was looking for.
