High Heels That Combine Style And Comfort
This portfolio features assignments from my Marketing Promotion Design and Applications course that I took during the spring of my junior year. Assignments given included new product/name & logo development; newspaper, magazine, yellow pages, direct mail and outdoor advertising space & cost constraints; and online advertising.
We were instructed to create a product to advertise over the course of the semester; I created "Power Pumps." Power Pumps are high heels that offer style and comfort. These heels have shock absorbers built into the heel so they don't cause as much pain for the wearer. Also, the bottom of the shoe (underneath the ball of the foot) has a slight curve to it, giving customer's legs a great work out. Although these pumps are comfortable, that doesn't mean they are clunky or unattractive! Power Pumps have a sleek, professional design, perfect for work or for a night out!
This assignment was to create a quarter page magazine ad for our consumer product. The criteria given was:
Design a vertical quarter page (3 9/16”wX 4 7/8”h)* full color ad for your consumer good product.
This assignment was to design an oversized postcard to mail to existing customers, alerting them about an online sale. The criteria given was:
Design a 6” x 9”oversized postcard, full color on both sides to mail to thislist with the express purpose of getting them to go to your product’sweb site where they will be able to download a coupon.
