Zombie Sock Monkeys
Making an American Classic into a Modern Horror Tail...
When I first started making Sock Monkeys, I learned using the original pattern by Red Heel. In late 2006, when a customer asked me for a shorter legged monkey, but to retain the designs at the base of the feet, I redesigned the Monkey pattern and began using my own pattern. From there, my imagination went wild. By 2009 I was doing things no one else was doing with sock monkeys... and once again, I set the bar with Zombie Sock Monkeys. They went viral on twitter, and it went on and on from there.

Now there's many zombie monkeys on the market, but it all started with me, and a little green and black Zombie.
I've made and sold over 100 Zombies to date, since 2009.  Each one is different. Sometimes a customer will ask me to remake a zombie from before, and I am happy to get as close to the original as possible, but exact replicas are usually not possible.
Zombie monkeys are not suggested for children, but most have no buttons or clips or things that can become easily unattached. But, they aren't as easy to clean as my Best Friend monkeys, so I suggest them for more mature collectors.
