Sock Monkey
I made Freddy in 2011. He is crafted from socks, thread, polyfil, felt, and plastic. I've always been a Freddy fan, so when I was approached about making him into a Sock Monkey, I was really excited to put my skills to the test. I used a lot of new techniques that I had been using in my zombie monkeys, and some new techniques I came up with on the fly.
I used plastic to create his knives. I found an image of one of the actual blades from one of his gloves and I used that as my template. Once the plastic was cut and prepared, I painted the blades silver.
