Koi fish are famous, ornamental fish in the Asian culture. They symbolize good fortune, success, prosperity, and longevity. Thus, they are called “live jewels in the water”. The interesting part of koi fish is the admiration process. The process requires peoples’ imagination to see the carps’ color, pattern and scale; and how the carp make up the landscape of water gardens.
