Traveling Exhibit: Visions of the Universe
Visions of the Universe was produced for the Hubble Space Telescope by Space Telescope Science Institute, originally funded by an American Library Association program to bring exciting exhibits to areas that don't have science centers and museums. This display's purpose was to intrigue and educate visitors about the history of western astronomy in honor of the anniversary of Galileo's first use of a telescope to study the sky.
The freestanding, double-sided panels are 6 foot tall and each side covers a different area of study; they are designed to be used in a variety of venues, environments, and audiences. High-resolution PDFs of the entire exhibit and its related educational materials can be downloaded from Amazing Space.
