Branding and packaging for designer toilet paper. 
For this brief I was required to brand a company specializing in designer toilet paper. This included creating brand values, consideration of target audience, a name for the company, a logo and applications such as packaging. Designer toilet paper is certainly a niche product and has gained exposure from coverage of celebrity lifestyles, for example Simon Cowell having black toilet paper in his home. From the outset I therefore considered this to be a high quality product with a sense of exclusivity.

I chose to aim the product towards the adult male market, trying to create a product that had a sense of masculinity. I named the company 'Finishing Touch', as I would consider designer toilet paper to be the finishing touch to the decoration or aesthetics of a bathroom or toilet. For example, someone with a green colour scheme in their bathroom would choose to have green toilet paper to match the rest of the room. 'Finishing Touch' also has a more tongue-in-cheek meaning in terms of the use of toilet paper, and I felt this went well with the masculine approach I was taking.
